Alberta (AINP)
An economic immigration program called the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) recommends candidates for Alberta permanent residency. Candidates must be either planning to buy or start a business in Alberta or possess the skills to fill job shortages. They must be able to support their families as well. The governments of Alberta and Canada are in charge of the program.
You and your spouse or common-law partner, as well as any dependent children, may apply for permanent residence status.
Canadian Citizenship and Immigration Management oversees applications for permanent residence. Final decisions regarding these applications are also made by the federal government.
