Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP)
The Government of Canada has collaborated with four Atlantic provinces (New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island). The pilot began in March 2017 for a three-year period and was extended for another two years in 2019.
The Atlantic Immigration Pilot assists you in hiring qualified candidates for jobs that you are unable to fill locally. These candidates may be living abroad or in Canada on a temporary basis.
- You can hire someone using one of three programs:
- Atlantic International Graduate Program
- Atlantic High-skilled Program
- Atlantic Intermediate-skilled Program
Each programme has specific requirements that the candidate must meet.
