Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program
Although it is home to the oldest European settlement and one of the oldest cities in North America, it has only been a province of Canada for 65 years.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) allows the Province to nominate applicants for Permanent Resident Status who meet certain criteria. The NLPNP provides:
- A smooth immigration process for qualified skilled workers, international graduates, and their families who want to live in Newfoundland and Labrador permanently.
- Assistance from provincial Immigration Program Development Officers, who can answer questions about the guidelines for the program and help applicants through the application procedure.
Through the Express Entry-Skilled Worker, International Graduate, and Skilled Worker categories of the NLPNP, Newfoundland, and Labrador may nominate up to 1,050 people each year.
